Vintage Old Town canvas over cedar. This canoe was built for sailing. It has a mast step with the forward thwart built to receive a short mast. Sail is a lateen rig with booms and hardware. Boat has a leeboard mount with 2 leeboards. There is a rudder controlled by lines. In addition there are some wood seats and floor boards included. As a paddling canoe it is very stable and has a large capacity. The condition is very good with the wood being varnished having  a dark patina. The canvas cover seems sound,  but of unknown date. The short mast is damaged and needs replacing. I have had the canoe for about 25 years with infrequent usage. It has been in indoor storage. I purchased the boat from the daughter of the original owner.  Pleasant to sail.
